Planning today for tomorrow

Families today are looking ahead and planning for the future as no generation has done before.  Using the same foresight with which you purchase life insurance or write a will, select your family monument in advance of need.  This will alleviate another decision your loved ones would encounter at the time of passing.

The McGovern Granite Company has well over 30 years of financial-planning experience between it's planners.

We are at the forefront of this quickly changing economy and we work closely with our clients because we are fully committed to meeting and exceeding expectations. We also believe in keeping our services affordable to our clients, we make sure to work around your budget.

We are proud that so many of our clients have repeatedly turned to us for guidance and assistance with their financial futures, and we work hard to earn their loyalty every day.

Generally, cemeteries have rules and regulations as to the size and type of memorials which may be placed on different size lots.  Ask your cemetery what restrictions apply to the lot you own or intend to buy.

There are many different monument designs.  There is no limit to the type of monument that may be designed.

Any monument, regardless of size, can be a personal tribute to the family it serves.  Special carvings for a profession or hobby, religious symbols or an appropriate epitaph will serve to make a monument more meaningful to your family.

An epitaph could consist of a favorite poem or prayer.  Important dates and their significant can also be included:  marriage, military service all are important.

Flower carvings in granite have a language of their own; the lily means purity, oak-strength, daisy-youth, ivy-fidelity, hyacinth-peace, rose-love the list is endless.
